Named Trails of Central Wisconsin

The Mountain-Bay State Trail is an 83-mile trail from Weston, just east of Wausau, to Howard Memorial Park near Green Bay, with contacts at the Brown, Shawano, and Marathon County parks departments.

The Shawano County segment of the Mountain-Bay Trail is 58 miles long and is listed on the Shawano County Parks Department trails page.

The Wiouwash State Trail is maintained and operated by the counties it crosses; its northern segment runs 19 miles in Shawano County between Birnamwood and Split Rock.

The Tomorrow River State Trail is a 29-mile rail-trail from Plover in Portage County to near Manawa in Waupaca County, with contacts at the Portage and Waupaca County parks departments.
