Inmate attempts suicide at Marathon County Jail in Wausau
The inmate was transported out of the jail by the Wausau Fire Department and is currently at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The most recent suicide at the jail was on March 19, 2016, when Mark Strurm was found unresponsive in his cell.
